Homemade BBQ sauce, protein-packed Seitan*and sautéed vegetables fill this mouthwatering Vegan BBQ Seitan sandwich.
And did you know you can do WAY more with your waffle maker than just make waffles? For sandwiches, a waffle iron is kind of like a panini press on steroids.
If you don’t own a panini press or a waffle maker:
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a cast-iron or nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.Press the sandwich slightly and place it in the skillet. Cook until golden on the bottom, 3 to 5 minutes.Flip, adding more olive oil to the pan if needed, and cook until the other side is golden 3 to 5 more minutes.
